It was long-rumored that Steven Tyler, the lead singer of rock band Aerosmith has been driving for the ridesharing company Uber. Los Angeles county residents reported taking rides with him throughout the area.
“I wasn’t sure it was him, but it looked just like him, and he kept playing Aerosmith’s greatest hits over the car stereo,” said frequent Uber user Angeline Basquiat. “He did mention that he’d been laid off from his last job. Told me he was a judge.”
Other passengers claim that Tyler mentioned he had brought up the proposed social security and medicaid cuts and seemed to have financial motives for driving. The Millennial Snowflake conducted several interviews and also learned that Tyler was bent on the younger generations hearing his music — an objective he felt he could achieve through making them listen to Aerosmith on the way to their destinations.
What we do know is that it appears there may be some veracity to these claims. If so, is this simply a product of the economy? Will we see more stars taking up part-time work? Let us know your thoughts!
