PYONGYANG — In his first speech at the United Nations as President, Trump referred to North Korean Dictator Kim Jong-un as “Rocket Man.”
“The United States has great strength and patience, but if it is forced to defend itself or its allies, we will have no choice but to totally destroy North Korea. Rocket Man is on a suicide mission for himself and for his regime,” said Trump.
Twitter and other social media platforms were in uproar about the former host of The Apprentice’s Rocket Man comments, along with his threat of total annihilation for North Korea. The other world leaders present seemed unsure of what to make of the former Trump University founder’s speech in which he also said that he will always put the United States before anyone or any other country.
On Tuesday afternoon, Kim Jong-un appealed to the UN to rein in Donald “Tiny Dancer” Trump, who Jong-un said is clearly a “psychopath.” Many were equally surprised to see Jong-un counter Trump with another Elton John song reference, though his was likely even more intentional. Less surprising, however, was the North Korean dictator calling Trump a psychopath.
“Like recognizes like,” tweeted @JongUn69.
As it seems Trump might be driving the United States towards nuclear war, he is further ostracizing the country from our allies and hurting foreign relations. Nobody doubts Trump would be more than thrilled to use nuclear weapons, so now the global community holds its collective breath since it appears the madman in the west and the madman in the east are pushing the world towards another great war.
