English Major Writes Beautifully Crafted Letter Declaring Bankruptcy

Alexandria Hammond, recent graduate of the University of Georgia, has written an absolutely breathtaking piece in which she declares Chapter 13 bankruptcy.

Dr. Timothy Sneijder, English professor at UGA, states that the letter, in which Alexandria claims to develop a plan to repay all of her overwhelming debts, is a masterpiece. “I’ve never quite read anything like it. Her prose is flawless, and she really captures the emotion of feeling like you’ve wasted the past 4 years of your life. Her regret is dripping off of the page. I’m honored to have been her professor, and also deeply worried about her financial state. Luckily, I’ve got tenure, but it really seems like she’s in trouble.”

Hammond declined to comment as she left her shift at Petco.
