HAVANA, CUBA — As a welcomed guest of Cuban President Raul Castro, Bernie Sanders was spotted this past week vacationing with the communist leader.
Sanders reportedly spent his time fully enjoying the best of the Cuban tradition — late nights dancing with beautiful local women, drinking and gambling, smoking cigars, and riding around Old Havana in the classic cars that have practically made the city a rolling car museum.
He has been quoted in the past as saying that he, “does not happen to be a great believer in the free enterprise system for many reasons.” Because of his shared ideology, the senator was allowed access to places few Americans have seen within the inner sanctum of the communist regime.
“Comrade Bernie is a great man,” said Castro. “He understands what’s best for the people will not always be popular with them. A leader must, however, act like a father and do what is right for the children of his nation.”
At press time, Sanders was reportedly working on a manifesto and a guide for teenagers on how to properly execute political revolution. Both books are expected to be released in 2018.
