LOS ANGELES — The image of celebrity comic and author Kathy Griffin holding what appears to be the severed and bloodied head of Donald Trump sparked international protests and outrage. The graphic nature of the photograph prompted the CIA to raid Kathy Griffin’s LA residence.
While many dismissed the image as being satirical, government officials were highly disturbed by the contents of the raid.
“We were highly disturbed by the contents of the raid,” said Mike Pompeo, Director of the CIA.
Pompeo went on to detail their findings, which included a ski mask, rope, bear spray, a sickle, and blueprints of the White House.
Further investigation is currently underway.
